Which size of protectors to choose?

Protection is very important in extreme sports! Indeed, falls are frequent and sometimes unavoidable. You must therefore protect yourself as much as possible to minimise the risk of injury. For your protection to be really effective, it must correspond to your morphology and therefore be the right size! Here is a small size guide to know which size of protection to choose.

Size guide

Protective shorts

Tip: Measure just above your hip bone, at waist level.

Back protection

Tip: Measure the distance from your C7 to the top of your hip bone. Tilt your head forward and look for the bony bump where the slope of your shoulders meets your neck. This is your 7th cervical vertebra (or C7). On each side of your body, place your hands on top of your hip bones (iliac crest). With your index fingers pointing forward and your thumbs pointing back, draw an imaginary line between your thumbs. This point on your lumbar is the bottom of your torso measurement. Stand up straight and ask a friend to measure the distance between the C7 and the imaginary line between your thumbs.
