In-mold construction
La construction dans le moule est une technique qui relie la doublure EPS absorbant les chocs directement aux coques en polycarbonate pour créer une structure légère et solide. Lors de la première étape, la feuille de PC est chauffée et emboutie sur le moule du casque. Le contour de la coque du casque et les trous sont ensuite fraisés. La coque en PC est ensuite placée dans le moule du casque et les ancrages pour les sangles et les systèmes de fixation sont placés. Le moule est ensuite fermé et le polystyrène expansé est injecté. La coque en polycarbonate se lie alors à l’EPS et donne naissance à un casque super léger, mais extrêmement stable
Tuned Fit System
The Tuned Fit system allows the rider to adjust the fit by using different thickness pads inside the helmet. TSG helmets always come with two sizes of pads. Each size comes in a different colour, making it easy to determine which pads are appropriate to fit the helmet to the head. It is very important to adjust the helmet with these included pads. For example, if necessary, slightly thicker pads can be fitted to the back of the head and the pad for the front of the head can be thinner, or vice versa.
Tight fit
TSG designs its helmets differently from its competitors. They have analysed the most diverse head shapes and determined a basic anatomical shape. This allows their helmets to follow the curves of the skull exactly. When you look at a TSG helmet from the front: The sides of the helmet shell are more curved and clearly point inwards. The contour of the TSG helmets on the sides and back is round and not straight as on other helmets. Thanks to this production, we get what is called a contact ring inside the helmet. Here the head touches the helmet all around.
This is what we call the TSG Snug Fit. In addition to being better fitting, helmets with Snug Fit are also less bulky.
To lift the TSG helmet off the head, more power is needed than in the competition models. This is important so that the helmet does not slip during use and, above all, remains in the correct position even in the event of a fall.
Low Fit
A helmet can only protect what it covers. The Low Fit design is low profile and fully protects the back and sides of your head without affecting your field of vision or restricting your movement.
