The TSG Cosma: maximum protection in a lightweight model.
This women's helmet is a real lightweight, offers maximum protection and fits all head shapes perfectly. The helmet has been specially designed by TSG for women and is equipped with a reinforced EPS In-Mold construction, which guarantees extra protection.
The fit can be individually adjusted by means of the fine tuning and interchangeable pads provided.
At the same time, the removable ear cushions and the 12-hole ventilation system ensure a light feel and maximum comfort in the mountains.
Technical information
In-mould construction
In-mould construction is a technique that joins the shock-absorbing EPS liner directly to the polycarbonate shells to create a strong, lightweight structure. First, the flat PC sheet is heated and stamped onto the helmet mould. Then the outline of the helmet shell and the holes are milled. This PC shell is then placed in the helmet mould and the anchors for the straps and fastening systems are placed. The mould is then closed and the EPS is injected. The polycarbonate shell then bonds with the expanded polystyrene to form a super light, yet extremely stable helmet.
Dial Fit System
The Dial-Fit system makes it easy to achieve a custom fit in seconds. An adjustment wheel on the back of the helmet allows for size adjustment and increased stability for helmets not equipped with the Snug Fit TSG system.
Tuned Fit System
The Tuned Fit system allows the rider to adjust the fit by using different thickness pads inside the helmet. TSG helmets always come with two sizes of pads. Each size comes in a different colour, making it easy to determine which pads are appropriate to fit the helmet to the head. It is very important to adjust the helmet with these included pads. For example, if necessary, slightly thicker pads can be fitted to the back of the head and the pad for the front of the head can be thinner, or vice versa.
Tight fit
TSG designs its helmets differently from its competitors. They have analysed the most diverse head shapes and determined a basic anatomical shape. This allows their helmets to follow the curves of the skull exactly. When you look at a TSG helmet from the front: The sides of the helmet shell are more curved and clearly point inwards. The contour of the TSG helmets on the sides and back is round and not straight as on other helmets. Thanks to this production, we get what is called a contact ring inside the helmet. Here the head touches the helmet all around.
This is what we call the TSG Snug Fit. In addition to being better fitting, helmets with Snug Fit are also less bulky.
To lift the TSG helmet off the head, more power is needed than in the competition models. This is important so that the helmet does not slip during use and, above all, remains in the correct position even in the event of a fall.
Low Fit
A helmet can only protect what it covers. The Low Fit design is low profile and fully protects the back and sides of your head without affecting your field of vision or restricting your movement.
Coated front rim
A protective layer of PC is bonded to the front foam for a clean look and extra strength to the lower rim of the helmet.
